Immigration is an extraordinarily complex and time-consuming legal system with many distinct aspects that may or may not apply to their case. Primarily, clients should hire an authorized licensee so that they are fully informed about the various available options and have an in-depth understanding of one’s specific case. Oftentimes, applicants do not have any idea or information about the alternatives. For example, several distinct categories of immigration lead to Permanent Resident (PR) status. Some categories work better for others because they may be able to obtain PR status faster through the PNP process that may not require employer assistance.

An authorized Immigration licensee, who is in good standing of CICC can give non-legal services relating to immigration, such as submitting your application, but cannot represent clients in court. However, Lawyers and Paralegals who are members in good standing of a Canadian Provincial or Territorial Law Society have the power to do both. Thus, an immigration consultant can sort simple immigration cases. If your case is complex, you might need a lawyer’s guidance.

Consultations can be conducted in person over the phone or via video conference. Additionally, if you conduct the consultation in person, understanding and clarity are much more specified.

An initial consultation is no more than an hour.
